Composition Photos: Linear Perspective and Shape
Linear Perspective by Vincent
Linear Perspective is the distance from the lens of the camera to the scene relative to each other.
Linear Perspective is the distance from the lens of the camera to the scene relative to each other.
I chose to take a picture of this fence because of it stretches over a distance and curves at the end. I angled it close to the fence and left the view of the curve open. The bricks at the bottom also curve and extend at a distance parallel to the fence.
I took a picture of a street across from the school. The road extends a distance to attach to a different road. The two parallel lines exist on both sides of the street. The car driving towards the camera gives us the other perspective of the street. Without the sidewalks it would look like an open road.
Shape by Randi
Shapes of different variety give the viewer something to look at to make it interesting.
Randi took a picture of a water tower because of the height and the shapes that hold the water tower up. It's curved dome is another shape that really stands out.
Randi took a picture of an interesting shape in front of the school. There are two main shapes seen in this picture. There is a solid square and a circle cut into the square.

TGJ2O1 Photoshop Exercise
The first thing i did was find a picture of George Clooney, I made sure that he was in a casual pose to make it easier to cut him out of his original picture. I also had to make sure that the clothes he was wearing was contrasted from the background. After opening Photoshop CS, I created a new layer as a copy. After doing that, I selected the background around Clooney to change the background colour. I chose red. After this step, I used the magnetic lasso tool to select George. I carefully traced George Clooney out making sure i got the outline of his body.
I found a picture of a Tarzan background which is random because it is a cartoon and George Clooney is a real person. He isn't even a voice for any of the characters in the movie. After doing this, i created a vector mask. There was a red outline around George Clooney so i had to get rid of it by using the airbrush tool with the colour red. It was the same shade i used to change the background colour of Clooney's original picture. I copied and pasted Clooney into the Tarzan background beside Tarzan to show both individuals. Lastly, i did some finishing touches to Clooney's body. There were still parts that were left from the other background so i had to blend those colours in with the Tarzan background. Then, I changed Clooney's brightness.
This is George Clooney in Tarzan
