Composition Photos: Linear Perspective and Shape

Linear Perspective by Vincent

Linear Perspective is the distance from the lens of the camera to the scene relative to each other.

I chose to take a picture of this fence because of it stretches over a distance and curves at the end. I angled it close to the fence and left the view of the curve open. The bricks at the bottom also curve and extend at a distance parallel to the fence.

I took a picture of a street across from the school. The road extends a distance to attach to a different road. The two parallel lines exist on both sides of the street. The car driving towards the camera gives us the other perspective of the street. Without the sidewalks it would look like an open road.

Shape by Randi

Shapes of different variety give the viewer something to look at to make it interesting.

Randi took a picture of a water tower because of the height and the shapes that hold the water tower up. It's curved dome is another shape that really stands out.

Randi took a picture of an interesting shape in front of the school. There are two main shapes seen in this picture. There is a solid square and a circle cut into the square.
